Posted by Coy Lay on January 17, 2019 at 12:43am

I am trying to maintain a openaid website saveworldart.org I put up a couple of years ago from 7.x-1.7 to 7x-2.8. I followed the install procedures and copied my site folder back into place. On going to saveworldart.org, I'm getting error:

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/saveart/public_html/profiles/openaid/modules/contrib/views_slideshow/views_slideshow_plugin_style_slideshow.inc' (include_path=':/usr/local/php54/lib/php') in /home/saveart/public_html/includes/bootstrap.inc on line 3190

manual install of 7.26 Security update

Posted by Coy Lay on March 12, 2014 at 7:24am

I just installed the Open Aid distro, and attempted to load the 7.26 security update. I competed the initial install but did not activate any modules, I put the site in maintenance mode, deleted everything but the sites folder and copied in the 7.26 files sans the site folder. The site came up but it wasn't OpenAid any more. Does anyone know what other files I need to save before I copy in the 7.26 files and folders?

Configure for Non Profit

Posted by Coy Lay on January 29, 2014 at 6:07am

I am creating a site for a new non-profit group that raises funds to support indigenous art forms and the artists that produce them. I like the OpenAid features and I've installed it on Pantheon to evaluate.

Did any of that documentation ever get finished? I'd be glad to take a look at it.

New OpenAid site! Is there documentation for the project?

Posted by briandeyo on July 17, 2013 at 7:10am

Hello,

I'm setting up a new site using the OpenAid distribution, and I'm really excited about what it has to offer.

I'm curious if there is any documentation running around regarding OpenAid specific information. I'm fairly new to Drupal so it's possible there isn't any need for OpenAid documentation, but I feel I'm not understanding a few features, first off the "hero" statement. Secondly... where to I "register" or mention the name of my site to increase the count on # of sites using this distro?

thanks for any help!
Brian

Donations?

What are people doing for donations? It seems OpenAid doesn't support donations out of the box, but these types of sites often require donations.

IATI Output?

Posted by TimDavies on August 8, 2012 at 8:28am

I've just been trying out the Open Aid Distro - fantastic work.

I work a bit with the International Aid Transparency Initiative, which has developed the common standard for sharing information on aid and development projects (http://www.iatistandard.org). The standard covers various code lists, approaches for creating activity and organisation identifiers, and an XML schema for sharing data. The shared data is all accessible from http://www.iatiregistry.org and increasingly through third-party tools that read in the XML.
