Are you attending the Boston DrupalCon, and can you help write up 1-2 sessions, and/or general opinions about it?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hi -

I'm particularly interested in writing contributions for less-technical Drupal users. I'm interested in working on training and learning opportunities for people who are involved with Drupal as end users, not as developers.

Guidelines?

Posted by mlsamuelson on February 27, 2008 at 4:38pm

Any guidelines for these write-ups? i.e. Length? Depth of coverage?

(I've added #drupal-newsletter to my IRC channels).

Looking forward to it.

There's something like 64

Posted by aaron on February 28, 2008 at 8:50pm

There's something like 64 sessions I think, so I imagine even if we have a paragraph on a third of them, that would be overwhelming.

So I would suggest writing up what's inspiring. We could highlight some of the write-ups that are more developed, and maybe do a digest of the others.

I'm interested in spending some time over the conference with folks brainstorming and developing some ideas for a stand-alone newsletter site, and this is just the type of thing that's perfect for that sort of thing.

Haven't run into anyone yet

Posted by mlsamuelson on March 4, 2008 at 5:43am

Haven't run into anyone yet in #drupal-newsletter... hm.

I've been taking notes. If no one else was at the usability findings session, I had that one covered... I know that was a big one for folks.

That would be really good

Posted by hal2 on February 29, 2008 at 5:48pm

That would be really good for me because I'm not going to able to make them.
Can I ask how 2 or more writers will compile thir works, or will they sty separate. This has the possiblity of becoming rather huge. Will people stick to reviewing / authoring 1 or 2 or will they write the whole time they are there? Any chance of getting recordings (sound and/or video) of the event(s)?
