Brief description:
Drupal 7!!! Drupal 7!!! Drupal 7 is around the corner and we all have to update our modules... again. really? Yup it's true the API has changed and it is for the better. In this session we'll look at the changes to the Drupal 7 API and how you can prepare your modules for the impending upgrade.

Probably because even on d.o. you can find misinformation as to what hooks are from a purely php programming perspective.

The reason for that may or may not be due to the nameless horror that has been the hook system up until now— which no man dare look at and live to tell.

Thankfully, Drupal 7 makes the hook system a bit more performant, if not sane. Looking forward to this session Jacob!
