Sweet!! I do not know much about who did the site last year I think it was LevelTen (http://getlevelten.org/) and I believe Tom and Dustin know details. Mark mentioned it might be a good idea to take the DrupalCamp LA distro to start with so we can use/contrib the changes back (@ http://drupal.org/node/519100 and http://drupal.org/node/519100/#download)

I'll open with...

Sponsor Levels/Benefits

Posted by rachelove on April 27, 2010 at 10:51pm

I received some info from Todd on the sponsor levels/benefits they set up for DrupalCamp Austin. Here are my notes from our phone call:

· Restricted # of spots for each tier (to encourage sponsors to jump on the opportunity sooner)

· Priced the tiers so they could get by with only filling up the top two tiers.

· They had 1 available spot for the top tier – sponsor got the biggest room to display their logo, and top positioning on website and print materials

· Named the rooms after the sponsor levels – "Lone Star," etc. The smaller three rooms were for the 2nd tier sponsors and were given in the order the sponsors signed up. Sponsor banner was hung up in the room and on the podium.

· All tiers except the lowest level got their logo listed across the website and print materials. The lowest level tier only got their logo listed on the main "Sponsors" page on the website.

· Sponsor logos were also listed on the back of the badges – he gave me a site to buy these in bulk: http://www.accesspasses.com

I can volunteer , I am also in discussions with my COO about our company sponsoring. Any ideas what the different levels of sponsorship might cost?

I just want to make sure we aren't duplicating work or if this post is related to http://drupalcampdallas.com/ that site says July timeframe.

This is the same group

This is the same group planning from that event - so I believe that date is wrong on the website; I think the new proposed date for making sure everything gets planned is Sept.-ish

DrupalCamp Dallas and Openca.mp

Posted by christianchristensen on May 20, 2010 at 6:26pm

So - as per the "executive" discussion at the last drupal meetup (http://www.meetup.com/dallasdrupal/calendar/13318123/) it looks like the general consensus for all around better conference this year is to have drupal sub-sessions at the openca.mp event this year. So, Drupal Camp will be a part of openca.mp - and the thought here is to start planning for more frequent deep-dive bar-camp and code sprint sessions.

Some notes:
We need volunteers to help!

Bar-camp location offerings:
* LevelTen
* SMU engineering facilities
* UNT
* your place here?
