Planning is underway for the third annual Drupal Camp Alberta. We've got some big changes planned for this year, most notably a move to Calgary for this summer's event.
If you would like to be involved in planning for this year's event, let me know here and I'll make sure we include you in the process.

Drupal User Living in Calgary
I live in Calgary and work at SAIT Polytechnic.
Just Launched my first real Drupal intranet site on April 28th, 2010.
I am definitely interested in attending but not sure how much I can help out (depends on dates and work load).

Don't feel an obligation to help with organizing. Keep your eye on this group and we will have information on dates soon. If you can lend some expertise somewhere, that's great, but otherwise we'll be happy to see you there as an attendee!
Do you know of any others in the Calgary area using Drupal? I'm sure there plenty of us in the area, but everybody has been lying pretty low so far.

I am a lone Drupalista at my Institution (that I know of)
ADETA (adeta.org) uses Drupal for its site and most of the Board are Calgary Based.
eCampusAlberta (ecampusalberta.ca) also uses Drupal but I am not sure that the designers are Calgary Based.
The largest Drupal Install I know of is the U of C.
D'Arcy Norman (dnorman) was largely responsible for this adoption but he has been off in the Wordpress Realm for a couple of years.
At least one Marketing/Design Firm in Calgary uses Drupal, New Wave Media (www.new-wavemedia.com)

Another Institution with Drupal
In the not too distant future, Lethbridge College will using Drupal for their main website. Currently we use Joomla, so the use of an open source CMS is already accepted. We are still very new at it, but look forward to being a part of the Drupal community.

I would like to be involved in the planning for this year's Drupal Camp Alberta 2010 conference.
As with previous Drupal Camp Alberta conferences, I am also available to help with anything regarding getting the camp going, registration and any logistical items etc..
BTW- Well done for organising another Drupal Camp!
I know I took a lot of valuable information and great ideas away from DCA2009 and would encourage everyone to attend this years Drupal Camp Alberta.
