I know there aren't many Drupal users in the area, but I thought I'd mention it - I will be attending Drupalcon San Francisco. If you're local and you're going as well, definitely let me know.

I'll be hopping all over the place. I get in to SF on the morning of Sunday the 18th. On Sunday evening I'll be reviewing my presentation with my co-presenters (I'm part of the libraries presentation on Wednesday). I expect I'll be leading the libraries BoF and attending the DrupalChix BoF.
I'm pretty easy to find at drupalcons -- if you see someone wearing a giant purple / yellow / green dinosaur hat, that would be me. It's the hat equivalent of the XKCD "You can talk to me!" shirt.

Hey, just started poking around the Drupal groups and saw this message. I ran into Joshua (hello again) but sorry I missed meeting you Amy. I was at DrupalCon, and was the guy with the backpack and a hairy face. Your idea was much better. Anyway, maybe next year.
I created the Central Alabama Drupal group awhile back, and just updated it tonight since I'm down in Montgomery. We'll see if we get any hits.

I was actually harder to find
I was actually harder to find than I intended to be - I got very sick the night before the first sessions. I wore the hat, but didn't attend any of the after-hours social gatherings. I had to make sure I had enough energy to present on day 3. I survived quite nicely and then came home and missed nearly a week of work. FAIL. :)
