Hi,

Thanks a lot for this useful module. But I suggest it would be better if one can use it while posting a comment also.

Thanks.
Deep.

few loop hole in the module

Hi,

i was trying this module on my practice domain.
this module really works good...
but i found few problems with this module....
1. how can we switch to English language again? (I think by default language should be english.)
2. can you design any key to switch the language like other marathi typing modules?
3. it'll be better if we can write comment by using this module.
4. have you tried using this module with WYSIWYG. (some other modules crashes with this module.)

i hope you'll find solutions very soon.

Thanks,
Shree

Have posted a patch at the project page http://drupal.org/project/googleLanguageApi enabling in comments as well as a bug-fix causing wrong selection to become active. Language Switching was already there using Ctrl+g. Patch includes a message to show this to users.

It is similar in that they allow similar facilities. However, http://drupal.org/project/indic_script allows you transliteration using mappings from higopi.com whereas this one uses the Google transliteration API.

indic_script stores the mappings in the module itself while this one needs Google to be up and giving all the time. I have tried only for Hindi and this one seems to be all I need though.

Try and drop a message to the module maintainer on his DO contact page. Or if the module is not actively maintained anymore, you could request for ownership transfer per this - http://drupal.org/node/251466 Power to you for porting this module.

That's awesome! Thanks for

Not Translet but Transliterate

Posted by bappa.sarkar on December 5, 2012 at 9:37am

The module will not translate any thing but it will Transliterate. Means you will see a select box before node body and let say you choose Hindi now if you type

"bharat humko jaan se pyara hain." it will become भारत हमको जान से प्यारा हैं.

The word will change immediately you press "space" or .
