Group of people working on Amharic translation of Drupal
@benjaminkyta, as you might well know, a good portion of our population does not speak English and I feel that's been one of barriers for wide spread Drupal adoption in the country. Amharic is widely used, although it is not the only language spoken in Ethiopia; Oromiffa, Tigrigna, Guragigna, Sidamigna are a few of the most popular ones.
I have been working on localizing Drupal for a while now and I wanted to join forces with people who might be interested to hack on this for a couple of hours and kick start something that could build moment. I figured if we have a small sprint either purely online or in person, we can achieve a lot more than what I'll be able to do in a month.
