I have recently become the site developer for the City of Lexington website which is running on Drupal 8. The original dev of the site still lives in the area, and the University of Kentucky is using Drupal for several department and faculty pages. So there seems to be enough use of Drupal in the area to justify trying to set up a meeting in the area. So this is a shout out to anyone interested to try to get an idea of the interest level.

I hope it's not to late to get in on this! I live in Louisville but have been trying forever to link up with other Drupal developers! Would love to meet up!
I'll check with the Lexington Public library this evening.
I live next door to its main branch and it has several spaces that may suit. If not my apartment complex has a meeting spot that should work. Look for an update in May though, I have some major projects I need to get out of the way first.

Did this group ever meet up? I'm interested in this group as well.

Kevin, it looks like we may just meet up by the water cooler. Have you heard from any other Lexington Drupalers?

I'm new to Drupal. Just finished Drupal Easy Academy. Work in Lexington, live in Danville.
Alright, alright, alright
Cool - maybe our posts will reignite interest from the earlier posters. I'd love to meet up in Lexington and swap stories!

My name is Adam and I work at Cornett on Main Street right above Portofinio's. (https://teamcornett.com/people/adam-dickison). I'm new to all of this, but I'd love to help build some kind of Drupal community in Lexington if possible. I know UK uses it extensively and so does Able Engine, so there so there has to be more people that might be interested as well. Maybe we could meet for lunch one afternoon or sometime after work is that's more convenient? Meet each other and go from there?
