DrupalCorn Camp returns to The University of Iowa for four a-maize-ing days of trainings, sessions, sprints, BoFs and community!

Angie "webchick" Byron, Drupal 8 core committer and Product Manager, will present Drupal 8 Strategic Initiatives: What, Who, Why, and How?, an overview and status update on the Drupal 8 strategic initiatives announced at DrupalCon New Orleans. This talk will include information on what these initiatives entail, what major priorities are being targeted for 8.2, 8.3, and so on, and how you can help push them forward.

Todd Nienkerk, the CEO, Co-Founder, and Digital Strategist at Four Kitchens, will present Creating a Culture of Empowerment - What it is, why it matters,
 and how it will improve
 your life and business. Todd will draw on more than 15 years of leadership at Four Kitchens and other creative organizations to explain why empowerment is the foundation of all successful teams and demonstrate how the open-source philosophy as modeled by the Drupal community can be applied to organizational culture.

We're super excited to announce that Angie Byron will be our featured keynote speaker on Friday, August 5, and Todd Nienkerk as keynote speaker Saturday, August 6!

Getting Started with Drupal
This training is aimed to people just starting with Drupal. Basic concepts will be explained are later put into practice.

Backdrop CMS - Differences from Drupal
Backdrop CMS is for the small to medium sized business, non-profits, educational institutions, and companies or organizations who are delivering comprehensive websites on a budget. This introductory training will cover the basics of creating and administering a website with Backdrop CMS.
