Up Clare!

Posted by tomsherlock on April 25, 2010 at 8:35pm

Just wanted to say my Mom's from Clare (near Dunbeg) and the 16th is my birthday. So, by all rights, I should be there, but I'm in NJ.

Have a great DrupalCamp. get some groups shots on the Burren!

Looking forward

Hi Tom,

That's great to hear you'll come all that distance. When you get over here, Dunbeg/Doonbeg is less than 40 miles from Ballyvaughan. I'm guessing Shannon would definitely be the handiest airport if you have a choice, especially if you want to head to West Clare first. There's some travel and accommodation information up on the website
http://www.drupalwest.com/accommodation
http://www.drupalwest.com/travelling-by-plane

But let us know if you have any other questions.

PS: you can register here if you want to vote on sessions or even submit your own suggestion for one

Looking forward to celebrating your birthday in Clare :-)

Sorry, Conor. My previous message must have been misleading. I simply wanted to wish you all well and wish that i were there.
I'm actually organizing a Themer's Play Day in NJ on May 15.

I trust it will be a great DrupalCamp, even without me ;) .

ah that's a pity

Hi Tom,

Sure we'll have a pint in your honour anyway, best of luck with the Themer Day.

Have a good one,

Conor

LESS THAN 10 DAYS TO GO...!

Posted by conorc on May 7, 2010 at 9:02am

Not long to go now... Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far to attend, thank you very much to everyone who has suggested a session to present. Continued thanks to the Burren College of Art for providing the venue and for being so refreshingly positive, thanks also to Lighthouse Networks for boosting the broadband. And a huge, enormous THANK YOU to our sponsor MyHost.ie for pledging to cover lunch & refreshments.

While I'm on a roll - Thanks to organisers of the last DrupalCamp in Belfast, they really set the bar high. Thanks too to Stella and Tom who have been a great help. Lastly can I also thank everyone who, tweeted, blogged and helped spread the word on this event.

Finally, can I also say how well Alan looks in the current issue of Hot Press ;-)

Really looking forward to to seeing the presentations both those already suggested and the ones you are still thinking about suggesting. Go on and post your suggestion now. It will be great.

Thanks to Conor

Have a brilliant DrupalCamp peeps!

I was to attend, but I'm stuck working this weekend on 2 sites which launch this Monday.
Hopefully I'll catch you at DrupalCon or the next camp.

Have a good one,
Steve.
