  • 7:10 - Upgrading Modules to D8 by JC Tenney
  • 7:45 - More theme stuff by Logan Farr

** Remaining time, if any, Drupal Q&A: We haven't done that in a while. Floor is open if you need some help with something after the presentation.

Details:

The DUG meeting will be held at the Lever Pulley / CentralPoint office located right in the center of SugarHouse. Bring your computer, business cards, and Drupal questions.

Social hour prior to the meeting from 6 to 7pm in the same location. Pizza and beverages available but if you'd rather something else feel free to bring your own. If you plan on eating pizza please bring a few bucks to drop in the "pizza fund" cup. Thanks to everyone who has helped out so far!

Parking in the back (behind Fiddler's Elbow and Well's Fargo). The door to get to the office is right off 2100 South, should be a Drupal drop on the door. The address: 1061 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84106

How do I get on the agenda for presenting? I actually was hoping to present about Drupal 8 and my experience of upgrading a module to Drupal 8. I can do it next month if we want.

Regardless, I'm going to try to make this meetup.

I can put you down for this month if you want. I prefer it when there are two "levels" of presentation anyway. We can do two 30 minute-ish this month or you can have next month. Just let me know which works best for you.

Let's have a slack for UDUG

I'm on a couple of slacks (frontendDevelopers, hacknightslc) and they're a good way to communicate among the group. I'd like to propose that we create a slack for UDUG. Let's discuss it at the March meeting. I'll demonstrate how they work for anybody who hasn't seen a slack.

Way ahead of ya... We have one, I set it up last year but we're just not using it yet.

If you'd like to put a 10 minute presentation together for April that would be good. I don't think it needs much more than that.
