Creating main term overview with their sub terms below

Hi,

I'm pretty new to Drupal and not sure if this is the place to find help, but I'll give it a go :). My problem is that I want to use Taxonomy for categorising content and that I need to create overviews of the categories in different places (showing main categories with their coresponding sub-categories just below).

I have a hierarchy of terms with 2 levels:

Vocabulary: categories
climb
- via feratta
- other
Dive
- crocodiles
- sharks
- whales
- other
drive
- 4wd
- atv
- ...
etc.

Well, it might be easier to just show how it's supposed to look: http://www.togfrog.com/category.php
(With the module "Taxonomy Image" I've attached category specific images, so that part is fine.)

However, what I'm struggling with, is showing the sub-terms together with their main terms. I've done a lot of searching on the topic and can't seem to find a solution. The closest I come is this article: http://www.drupaler.co.uk/blog/using-views-create-dmoz-style-sub-categor.... It claims to make something like DMOZ (http://www.dmoz.org/), which looks pretty much like what i need, but the article doesn't live up to what it says (I might have misunderstood something).

Anyway, does anyone have an idea for a solution?

Thanks
Lars

Hey Lars,

This is exactly what I want to try and achieve. Did you ever figure out a solution? And if so how did you do it?!

Many thanks,

Luke
