Welcome to Saxony, I am also looking forward to the next meeting. At the moment is here yet it seems not much going on, I personally am hoping for a meeting in October, so that the matter comes back in rolls.

No worries, I helped organise the Melbourne meetups, so let me know if you need any help.

The organization has always worked, unfortunately all seem "Group organizers" to have something else to do. If I did not hear anything until the end of the summer, we'll just take in October, for example, in the university or in a bar.

Hi Chris,

there was no meetup since February, so I'd suggest to have one rather soon. For the beginning we could say that we meet in a pub for a beer and see if someone joins. Example: we meet this Thursday, July 17th.

Traditionally meetings were held every third thursday in a month (being new to Leipzig, I never joined neither).

Meeting Date

Traditionally also the drupalistas meet every last month's thursday (that is Sept 25th). So, I'd say let's stick to this date and have a DUG Leipzig meeting.

However, it's a little unfortunate that both usergroups meet at the same date. I see two options to fix this
* we find separate dates
* as @chrischinchilla suggested we meet in a larger group with php and js folks

Traditions

The traditional meeting date in Leipzig (in the old Drupal User Group) has been the third Thursday of every month.

Alright, then it's no problem. We can stick to tradtions and we can have the meeting September 18th. Is that fine for everyone?
