Drupal SMS integration for Australia

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Does anyone out there know of a Drupal module that integrates with smsbroadcast.com.au? Or are there any other Australian alternatives? Keen to find out what is commonly used here.

I think your best best is to use https://drupal.org/project/smsframework and to write a small gateway for smsbroadcast.com.au

and a double check of the smsframework shows that they've got a d7 port working, but its unclear how stable it might be.

I agree with Ryan. The API already exists and you just need to make wrappers. Look at the others already included in smsframework.

Thanks. I am going to follow that because I am thinking of switching back to them. Annoys me Clickatell do not let you set the from name. They won't authorise my server name because its not a business. I remember sms global didn't care.
