Combined Melbourne PHP-Drupal Bowling Meetup

Hey everyone!

I was inspired to organise a social event for next month, and this is what I came up with:

$group2 = "Melbourne Drupal";
$idea = "A combined $group1 &amp; $group2 bowling meetup!";
echo $idea;

I am thinking around Saturday 5th of December, before people start going on holidays and so on. We can meet at the bowling alley at the top of Melbourne Central, next to the Lion and also near the Hoyts ticket office. We'll get some pizzas there while we play, say, 2 games each, and then we can go the Lion for a few beers afterwards.

Please let me know if you like this idea, and if you think you would come!

That would be great if I can fit it into my children's schedule - a Friday night would suit me better as mum's taxi is not usually required then. Bowling would be fun and I would be in the city then anyway.
I would be interested to look at the opportunities in dev / consulting.

This sounds like good fun. I have never been to a drupal social event before so this might be the right time to make some new friends and come out of the closet as a wanna-be techie.

ok, Friday night it is then! We'll meet up at around 18:00 at the bowling allay at the top of Melbourne Central, play 1-2 games and then head to the Lion next door for beers afterwards. How does that sound?
