Preferred responsive menu for Omega

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I know this topic has been in flux, but I wanted to check in with those of you using Omega and find out what you are using for responsive menus?

Right now we are hand-coding our menus as blocks with a UL/LI structure parent/child structure. They are horizontal with drop downs on the desktop view, and show as vertical with sub-items on the responsive.

However, we want to switch to menus that are managed by Drupal with responsive styling built in. (Possibly with a clickable Javascript box for the menu instead of a persistent menu block at the top.)

Q: Is anyone using a Drupal module or other responsive menu with Omega?

Use the module Mobile Navigation

Use the module Mobile Navigation https://drupal.org/sandbox/x7ian/1996698

We have worked with the Mobile navigation module, which converts the menu to various types of menu that can be used in mobile devices

If you are using superfish, nice menus or megaemenu this module makes your menus are optimized and you can configure the brakepoint and the type of menu you need.

The module is use for these sites

We expect the module soon be accepted, to be better known

Hope this helps, my humble opinion

Collapsiblock

I hacked the heck out of Collapsiblock (https://drupal.org/project/collapsiblock) for the Yale University Library website (http://web.library.yale.edu).

I agree with prasannah.ganeshan, that site looks really nice. So collapsiblock appears to make blocks collapsible. Did you use Drupal's menu system with this? Or manually create blocks with menu content?

Menu Block

I use a module called Menu Block to put the menu items into separate blocks on different parts of the page:

There's a bunch of new

There's a bunch of new modules for this recently, including

tinynav
responsive menus
responsive navigation
mobile navigation

Responsive Menus worked with Omega out of the box with default settings. I only needed to theme the menu.
