I can reach other parts of the site by entering direct urls, such as admin/appearance.

Configurations are being saved and all works except when I set my sub-theme as default.

Neither Omega nor Alpha are enabled as per all the instructions.

Are there other points to know about when enabling an Omega sub-theme?

I installed the Omega Tools, Delta and Content and installed the theme via the menu. Then, I used Omega Tools to create the new sub-theme. After I tried to enable and set as default, that's when/where I get the WSOD...nothing on the page, no page is even rendered, no errors just pure, white snow.
