Hi,
I don't know where to start now.
I clicked on the "add project" but didn't know which options are referring to translations.
I visited this page: http://groups.drupal.org/translations and there is not clear starting points. All it has are the 2 links and comments.
please some one guide me.

thanks

Check out the Multilingual Guide:

http://drupal.org/documentation/multilingual

The upshot:

  1. Enable locale module
  2. Add/configure languages
  3. Enable either Content Translation or Entity Translation module (latter is preferred for new Drupal 7 sites)
  4. Enable content types for translation
  5. Create a node
  6. Click Translate tab to make translations for the node
