Recently, Bianca volunteered a new theme design for the South African Drupal Community website (drupal.co.za).
There are still changes to be made and all input would be highly appreciated. The site is currently being worked on and will be fully responsive and ready for all mobile devices and tablets.
The idea behind the site was to link to generic content which is relevant to South Africa. Sites such as the South African Drupal Showcase page, the South African Drupal group and the South African Market Place. The site is continually being developed and your input is greatly required. We have also chosen not to link to any local companies as the Drupal association already has a Market Place.

Awesome!
Love the new site! It addresses 100% of the issues I had with the old one.
The theme, I'm sure, will mature a bit. Sat with Willem today and tested on phones - the font on the buttons doesn't render quite heavy enough to read well, otherwise quite nice on Galaxy S3. On his iPhone the footer menu didn't quite work, but was usable.
On my hope PC here the background repeats several times (large screen with 2560x1600 resolution) and the logo is blurry (resampled bitmap blurry).
I absolutely love that the site makes use of existing resources to list sites, businesses and individuals and links people to those resources so that more SA Drupallers can list int he right places and those needing our services can find us.
Thank you guys so much for this!
