I'm trying to use the E-mail Gateway module included in the SMS Framework. When I confirm my phone number, it works. But when I set my user's Messaging and Notifications default send method to SMS, the notifications don't work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is bumping an old post but for people stumbling upon this, the below link is most likely your fix.

Its a problem that was once fixed in Messaging module, but has reapeared. Its a very tiny patch to fix it.
