Custom style sheets

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I am currently adding custom style sheet rules to this file:

profiles/julio/themes/watt/styles/style.css

Is there any problem with this?

In other words, will this file be overwritten when I upgrade to a newer version of Julio?

If so, is there a better place for custom style sheets?

Cheers,

Simon

When managing a distribution

When managing a distribution it's usually best not to make any changes to anything within the profiles directory. Treat this component as if it's part of Drupal core because it will undoubtably be overritten whenever a new version of Julio comes out and you upgrade (unless you are very careful).

If you want to add your own CSS I'd suggest either writing a module that just adds in your stylesheet or using a module like http://drupal.org/project/css_injector which will allow you to apply your styles whenever you want.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I've installed the css_injector module and it appears to do everything I need.
