FOSDEM is a free event offering open source communities a place to meet, share ideas and collaborate. It is renowned for being highly developer-oriented and brings together 5000+ geeks from all over the world. No registration necessary.

It takes place in Brussels.

Since the devroom was denied, will there be a community booth? Did anyone submit talks for the main track? Any other initiatives?

Hey Stijn, surprise to find you here :)
You don't really need too much tech knowledge, just a passion for Drupal and a passion for networking and spreading the word. We aim to have two people in the booth at all times, so you can always pawn tech questions off to your peer ;)

I'll be at the Puppet community booth most of the two days, feel free to come say hi. The Drupal community booth was denied because there wasn't enough space to accomodate all requests.
