Hello Fellow Twin Cities users,

I have an ever ponderously growing website I have set up and maintain for a local Youth Soccer club.
I recently added the ability to let Team Managers manage their Team pages and Calendars.

My question is : What is the best module that will let me select everyone in a specific Role and send out an email to them?

Seems like there should be a module for this, but to search through them all is a bit time consuming.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Not sure what version you are using. There is mimemail

I the the easier way is to set up organic groups where you can have your individual calendars and areas - You can have them click the notify of new info button and then when you post to the page with news, etc. -- it sends out a notify message to everyone in that group with the post in the message and it is on your group page for reference -- it's like what is done with Drupal groups -

Hey Thanks, I am using Drupal

Hey Thanks,

I am using Drupal ver 6 right now.
I am using Organic Groups for the Team pages, but that is really only so I can create pages with associated calendars that the managers update. The only members to each of those groups would be the one or two team managers.

Could I create another OG group of just the managers and send out emails to them that way? Is that via Notify and Messaging modules, I have not had terrific luck with those in the past.

I found Mass Contact module, know anything about that moddule?

Thanks,
MA
