Redirect Loop with second site

I have two domains I would like hosted off one install of drupal, domain1.com, domain2.com hosted on godaddy.com
I have installed drupal and have the first site up, however when trying to install the second site, domain2.com, I get a browser error saying "this page has a redirect loop, "The webpage at http://site.com/install.php has resulted in too many redirects".
I seem to get this error each timeI try to add a second domain.
Here are the steps I took
1.create new directory in 'sites' called 'domain2.com'
2.moved 'default.settings.php' into the folder and renamed it appropriately.
3.typed domain2.com

Any help?

note this error continues to exist even if I delete the 'domain2.com' folder.

Hey, sweet! Thanks for giving me that link to your install page! Now I can install your copy of Drupal on your hosting account with my username and password and do whatever I want with it!

...Or I could if it weren't for the redirect problem. (I suggest you edit the link out of your post.)

The problem is probably at a higher level than Drupal. Did you make any modifications to .htaccess files, maybe?

I haven't made any mods to .htaccess, but I wouldn't know what it should look like. Here is my file currently:
