Drupal 6.x and phpbb module user sync

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I have installed phpbb module on drupal 6.9 but I don't have user sync from phpbb to drupal. Is this supposed to be correct?

If you have the drupal 6 version it should be syncing new users.

In the past it would not sync existing phpbb users into drupal but there is now a version that will sync existing users to drupal as they log in for the first time.

IF it is still not syncing then you have some other problem.
