Ajax 6.x-1.8 is Out!

I have implemented a new JavaScript API so 3rd party plugins can easily integrate into the module's functionality.
All JavaScript is now using the Drupal Javascript API and JavaScript behaviors.
Javascript-generated text is now locale-aware.
Improved usability and compatibility for users not having Javascript-enabled browsers.
Improved support for forms rendered inside a thickbox.

I will continue to improve both the PHP and Javascript API's for this module, if developers demand it. I will also continue to improve the API documentation in the coming weeks.
