Dash Media Player: A media player built for Drupal CMS

Hello everyone,

I just recently developed the Dash Media Player which uses Services to extract data from Drupal. It is really a nice fit to build a media player that takes advantage of the Drupal Services. This way, you can build a playlist using the Views module and load any video that is connected to any node in the system.

Please let me know what you guys think.

OH! And does anyone know how to upgrade the Flash side to incorporate the recent Services security upgrade (with the nonce, hash, etc)? The latest version of Services broke my player and I am working frantically to get it upgraded. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, that idea sounds very interesting and promissing! I definitely will put in on my try-out list.

Edit: Is there any chance for integration/utilizing the getid3.module? What I'd like to have is nodes, i.e. content types, that gather infos like artist, title, etc. "automatically" for added mp3 file (or other formats). With the knowledge I have so far I don't see a way I could do that right in the content type definition. I'm wondering because my client shouldn't have to add php code to the content when adding audio nodes.
