Hello everyone, I have only been working with drupal for about 3 month now. As you all know the learning curve for drupal can be like a roller coaster ride! I am wondering if there are any of you that live in the Asheville, NC area that would love to get together and talk, play and eat drupal? I would love to make friends with people that know what the heck I'm talking about!

I am in the Boone, NC area (a grad student at Appalachian). Asheville is around 2+ hours for me, so it's not that bad. There's another guy up here who would also potentially be interested.

If I'm not mistaken this is the Drupal Dojo group, a non location specific group for those interested in Drupal.
This is not an Asheville, NC users group!!!
I live in Seattle and I'm sure 95% of the people receiving Dojo emails don't live anywhere near NC and don't want to be kept informed about all y'all's social calendar.
Please, I get enough unwanted email as it is!!! I've been deleting your Dojo posts from my inbox for days now. . .

Hello from Johnson City, TN! I've been building sites with Drupal for about a year now, and would LOVE to talk face-to-face with some other folks in the area that do the same. I feel so isolated sometimes, with nowhere to look for help except d.o or google. I would be up for meeting in Asheville or Boone sometime after the holidays. I'm mainly interested in building and theming with Drupal, but would really like to get into custom module development. Is there another group that would be closer to me? Maybe one for the 'Tri-Cities' area? I see that there's one in Nashville, but that's a 6 hour drive for me.
