CSUN, Accessibility, and Drupal

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

One of the sessions at the 26th Annual International Technology & Persons with Disabilities Conference was about Drupal.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they recorded the session (CSUN, Accessibility, and Drupal) but there's an interesting white paper. Is anybody here involved with this project?

This might be an avenue to get detailed accessibility test results of Drupal 7.

Feedback From CSUN Study

I really liked this quote:

In this manner CSUN has transformed over 15,000 pages with the accessible web template system and is now ready to take the next step. CSUN is using WordPress for blogging and special project web sites, and many departments are using Contribute, but a WCMS with a robust feature set is needed for the larger web environment. With over 80,000 active pages and many more pages, documents, and other files in inventory, the CSUN web environment is in need of a Web Content Management System (WCMS).

Because of the leadership shown by the Drupal accessibility community CSUN is focusing on Drupal as the main WCMS. Starting in the spring of 2011 a pilot project will be launched to make it easy for faculty to create home and syllabi pages. The faculty syllabi project is being created in Drupal.

and definitely looking forward to hearing more about this session.
