How many are we?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I was wondering how many drupalers are there in the Kootenays?

I'm wondering if we have enough to have a meetup somewhere here.
Maybe a coffee in Nelson? Anyone near Nelson?

Looks like 9 members so far. So many?!

Nice to meet you all. I'll start by introducing myself. After that, it would be interesting to see where discussion could lead.

My name is David Livingstone, and I'm sole proprietor of Empire New Media. I used to do Drupal mostly, now I pretty much do Drupal only. I find the advantage of Drupal is not only that it allows clients to maintain their own sites, but I find it a great tool now to just build sites period.

Been at it now for 4 years. But I'm no programmer. I think I fall into the category of Drupal themer. But with the way things are developing, I'm finding there's a lot I can do without the need to code, not only with the Views module, but his a combination of other modules as well.

Cheers,
David

...from Vancouver but with a love for the Kootnays. I just wanted to keep an eye on this community.

My company (http://thejibe.com) is the current host the monthly VanDUG meetings: http://groups.drupal.org/vancouver. We've had some interesting speakers and topics in the last few months. I encourage you to join us if you ever come to Vancouver.

All the Best!
Francis

lol...didn't know what the arrows were...no I see...

Anyways, would love a get together. Just not sure exactly where everyone is. If we can sort that then we can sort a place to meet sometime.

I've been using Drupal for 5 years and develop only with it, though I do get brought in for other CMS work occassionally. I've built 4 or 5 modules myself and am quite proficient in the programming side of things.

I would love the opportunity to pull together a chit chat and resource group. Always love talking Drupal with other Drupalers :)
