First alpha release of nodejs.module1

Just in time for Drupalcon Chicago, i've rolled the first alpha release of the nodejs.module.

The module is definitely not ready for prime-time, but its getting useful enough that i need more feedback to take it to the next level.

That's a very nice demonstration video. Great use case scenario. I can see this being vey handy in OG / Drupal Commons type applications (at least, once Drupal Commons is ported to D7).

I didn't quite get what the module was trying to do before I saw the video. Now, I can see myself using node.js to poll other websites, and using your hooks here to provide real-time notifications of the results.

Nice to see fellow Aussies working on cool stuff too.
