BAD CAMP 2008

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I am available to help out with organizing this year's BAD Camp. Let me know what I can do to help.

Also, how does the sponsorships work? I might be able to get my company to sponsor this event.

As far as sponsorship goes, last year we had 11 companies donate 200ドル-500ドル each, which raised 3900ドル. We spent 3,340,ドル with the biggest expense being T-shirts. We ended up donating the excess, plus the money we raised selling the T-shirts, to the Drupal association. Also Sun and OpenCircle sponsored the Saturday night after-party, which was fantastic.

Well, mostly sponsors got a logo on the website, and on the program that got handed out to everyone. Sun bought a whole bunch of Pro Drupal books to give out to attendees, so they got a table and put a banner on it, but the general vision of the camp is to stay low key with the corporate branding.
