How to use this modules

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Sorry for this very very very stupid questions, but how can I contact a drupal-services from another drupal-site ?

I have read the documentation, see the source of services.module and *_service.module, but I have not understand how can I call this module from another site or via web browser (javascript/json service module).

Please help this newbie.

Can I echo this question? I have read through Services and the xmlrpc code. I am also feeling lost. What I want to do is be able to make a piece from one site available via XML RPC; so that another site could be allowed to take that node and save it locally. While CCK capabilities would be nice, I would be happy if I could get something that could read blog and page content types; and post them elsewhere. Where I'm going with this concept: I want to have a document exchange; but I'm tripping over square one.

Does anyone have any pointers? Any primers or how-tos?
