Humanities scholars and small museums willing to digitize their research projects can accomplish it by using existing open-source platforms and without the need of hiring a computer specialist. However, this process usually involves a steep learning curve and a significant amount of time that generally humanities scholars do not have.
Furthermore, they rarely take the extra step to embed structured data (Semantics) on their online projects, and their research is often stored in isolated data silos.

The World Heritage Convention, drawn by various international bodies in 1972, was designed to protect cultural or natural places of outstanding universal value so that future generations may be able to enjoy them.

Cypriot Medieval Coins History and Culture is a novel digital library dedicated to the study, promotion and dissemination of the history of Medieval Cypriot Coinage (12th-16th centuries). The project is the development of the ongoing collaboration between the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation and Cyprus Institute which originally began in February 2012 with the pilot implementation of the advanced Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) photography on a big part of the collection of the Museum of the History of Cypriot Coinage.

I would like to know if anyone use CIDOC-CRM on Drupal?

The CIDOC Conceptual Reference Model (CRM) provides definitions and a formal structure for describing the implicit and explicit concepts and relationships used in cultural heritage documentation.

Drupal is a powerful framework that can be used in Digital Cultural Heritage. Our aims are to introduce Drupal into Digital Cultural Heritage domain, as well as to share and protect our long-standing civilization through time by using Drupal. Thus we present Drupal's contribution to Digital Cultural Heritage.

Drupal framework can be used to support complex Digital Culture Heritage Projects, help researchers and scientists share their knowledge worldwide and preserve valuable data.

I would to develop a museum collection with Drupal, that is going to have thousands of images. do you believe using only drupal is ok, or i have to take in consideration other softwares.
any ideas?
