Drupal Camp India

Building on the momentum of the Drupal AI Summit, I’m planning a Drupal AI Contribution Weekend in Goa — and opening this up to the community for collaboration.

Location: Goa
Date Tentatively: 16 May 2026

This will be a community-driven event focused on learning, contribution, and collaboration around AI in Drupal.

Proposed structure:
• Morning (Sessions): 2–3 talks (max 45 mins each)
• Afternoon (2–5 PM): Contribution sprint (AI modules, issues, collaboration)

How to configure Drupal Commerce to sell simple products, products with attributes, and customizable products
How to apply discounts and collect taxes using product pricing rules
How to customize the shopping cart and checkout experience
What additional features are provided by contributed modules like payment methods, shipping quotes.

Pre-Requisites

Prior experience with Drupal Basic is highly recommended. If Drupal is new to you, one can find introductory training video here: Getting Started with Drupal.

Everything you need to get a basic Drupal website or blog up and running, including:
-- Installing Drupal
-- Installing Drupal modules and themes
-- Adding, creating and moderating content
-- Configuring the WYSIWYG editor in Drupal (adding/removing buttons from the toolbar, etc)
-- Creating user accounts and managing permissions
-- Adding, removing and reordering menu links
-- Assigning SEO-friendly URLs to pages, and having them generated automatically
-- Creating and positioning blocks
-- Tagging content with the Taxonomy system
-- Managing comments
