I've obtained this domain name and I intend to set up a website with a list of various burner related websites that use Drupal. We'd like to have points of contact for each site so that we might better share code/modules/ideas that are implemented on the various sites.

Christefano has created a Burning Man distribution project on Drupal.org. Do you want to help with this? We are working on getting a list of requirements / functionality together.

I've written php code to submit What Where When event information programmatically to Burning Man's WWW, as well as Transformus' Burn this Booklet. I use this on the Camp Contact website so we don't have to duplicate effort in entering data via keyboard. Events get put into our calendering system, and go directly out to the What Where When. I'll likely also write an interface into Playa Del Fuego's event submission form. If you're interested in this code please let me know!

Drupal 8 is taking the same path as other MVC (Model View Controller) frameworks like Ruby and Symfony, which makes it easier for developers to make an easy entry. Much of the Drupal code which seemed alien before now seems familiar to developers with experience in other frameworks.

We're excited to announce our second Drupal event on the playa at Burning Man! Join us at 1:30pm on Saturday, August 30, 2014, in the dome at Playaskool.

Playaskool is at 10 & J. (It might show up at "Recess Reunion" on some maps.) This is the venue where TEDx is on Friday.
