I have a smidge of more time in my schedule these days. Would anyone be interested in restarting this group with me in the new year? I think we could do something small to start, discuss Drupal over coffee or pizza. If there is traction, we could start some planning.

We are doing a deep dive into the Paragraphs module and the related modules that make paragraphs really sing.

Drupal 7 will be the base platform for the training but these concepts are transferable to Drupal 8 as well.

This is a special two hour training, starting at 4:30pm and going until 6:30pm. Drop by whenever you can as you will be sure to pick up something useful.

A note about the Twig C extension (offers enhanced theme performance) for use with Drupal 8 in the context of Acquia Dev Desktop 2

I discovered that if you follow the instructions to build the Twig C extension (OS X context) per:

$ cd ext/twig # my full path location was at: ~/.composer/vendor/twig/twig/ext/twig
$ phpize
$ ./configure
$ make
$ make install

You will get a 64-bit component as evidenced by using the file command on the resultant twig.so file:
