We are excited to announce that the 7th annual DrupalCamp Mumbai will be held on Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th, 2018 at VMCC, IIT Bombay.

i want to be a professional drupal developer. so i want to create a effective community in bangladesh. if anyone serious please comment here i shall contact with you.

A few weeks back Drupal Association announced the Elections for it’s Director-At-Large position. The At-large Director position is specifically designed to ensure community representation on the Drupal Association board. I strongly feel there should be a representation from Asia. Drupal Asian communities have seen tremendous growth in recent years, be it adopting Drupal by Enterprises, conducting successful Drupal Camps, Organizing Training Days, Conducting Code Sprints or taking initiatives to make Drupal community flourish.

Thanks god,I had a great journey for DrupalCon Asia 2016 at IITB, Mumbai in India. I met with Dries, Angie, Megan, Jam, Cooper, Scott, Emma and others. I tried to collect some information how I can share Drupal to our country's people.

Now I will try share my small Drupal knowledge to people. Try to attend open source social program to share something about Drupal.

Welcome to Mumbai – Maximum City, India’s financial capital, the city of millions of hopes and dreams, home of the great Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood’s playground, known for its dabbawallas, pav bhaji, cutting chai, vada pav, Bambaiya-Hindi, super-prime real estate, ever-optimistic spirit and non-pretentious chilled-out-ness amongst other strokes that paint this masterpiece of a city.

I had a small meeting with Assistance Professor of Bangladesh University about Drupal. I shared something about Drupal. They were so interested about this Platform. I also discussed on Drupal 8 Release News. They really want to help me to make a nice community. They wanted to provide university labs to continue weekly free training for universities students.

I focused on the following points-

01) First create a small community.
02) Continue weekly free training on Drupal 8.

Yesterday I called to Bangladesh University (BU) for initiate our journey. The associative head of the CSE department wanted to help us. He wanted to meet with us more than 300+ students. May be there will be our first short session about Drupal. http://www.bu.edu.bd/

Mid-term exam is running there. So we have to arrange some session after 10 days. That can be on end of this month or next month first week.

We hope, we will be enjoying.

We are really happy that our dream Drupal 8 will be release on 19th November. We are from Bangladesh. So timezone is different from others. Thats why we decided we will CELEBR8 Drupal8 on 20th November in the morning.

There will be more fun and learning. If you are living in Dhaka you can join with us.

Hello everyone,

I have joined this group as I recently I started to learn more about Bangladesh life, culture and the life.
As for now I am London based I would like to ask you about the IT situation in Bangladesh, especially in Dhaka.

I am considering to move there to help other businesses with Drupal Development, Mobile Applications and AWS Servers but I don't know how it works there.

I had an amazing opportunity two years ago to go to Dhaka (with a side trip to Manikganj) for a project with Aarong - you can see my photos from that trip here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/seanr1978/sets/72157629571481334/. I led the technical discovery process for their e-commerce project (they ended up going with Magento and an Indian firm for the site, but we did do the design). I absolutely fell in love with the place and would like to give something back to help the people who welcomed me with open arms there.

Rules (http://drupal.org/project/rules) is one of highly used modules in Drupal. The rules module allows site administrators to define conditionally executed actions based on occurring events. Out of the box rules comes with some events, actions and conditions.
