I write a lot of Rust, reach for Go when I want something lean and practical, and have a bad habit of going down a rabbit hole on technical problems.

A bit about me

based in: UK
working in: Rust, Go
currently into: WebAssembly, FFI, systems work
usually doing: building, debugging, sementic meaning of constructs
also enjoy: puzzles and clean little abstractions

What I'm doing now

  • Learning more about how different languages fit together in real systems
  • How to tame codex and claude so I get to do more thinking and understanding
  • Following the kinds of bugs that look annoying at first and interesting five minutes later
