Guide Structure & Workflow

This repository walks you through the entire lifecycle of a hardware project, from a blank canvas in KiCad to a functional, firmware-driven device on your desk. The guide is broken down into six main phases:

  1. PCB Design - initial component selection, schematic, layout, and routing
  2. Component Sourcing - final component selection process, BOM optimization, and ordering
  3. Ordering PCBs & Stencils - fabrication artifacts, PCB and stencil ordering
  4. Hardware Assembly - physical assembly of the board and wiring
  5. Software - minimal firmware and basic scripts
  6. Testing - gathering setup, flashing, and testing
