This repository provides a curated IP blacklist aggregated from multiple reputable security sources. The list is automatically updated at regular intervals to ensure maximum protection against:

  • Brute force attempts and dictionary attackers

  • Tor exit nodes (for services requiring blocking)
  • Known bad actors from threat intelligence feeds

  • One IP/CIDR per line
  • No comments or headers in the main file
  • IPv4 only (IPv6 support planned)

⚠️ Important Notes

Filtering Applied

  • Private IP ranges are automatically excluded (10.x.x.x, 192.168.x.x, 172.16-31.x.x)
  • Localhost addresses are filtered out
  • Multicast ranges are excluded (224-239.x.x.x)
  • Duplicate entries are removed

Recommendations

  • Test thoroughly before implementing in production
  • Monitor false positives and adjust as needed
  • Keep backups of your original firewall rules
  • Update regularly for maximum effectiveness
