After cloning the repository, install the git hooks to ensure CHANGELOG.md is updated whenever a version bump occurs in an addon's config.yaml:
./hooks/install.sh
This installs a pre-commit hook that blocks commits where the version in config.yaml was changed but CHANGELOG.md was not updated accordingly.
Vector is a high-performance observability data pipeline. This add-on runs Vector as a Home Assistant OS service, collecting logs from the systemd journal and forwarding them to a configured sink.
Supported sinks:
- VictoriaLogs
- Loki (including Grafana Cloud)
