Running Tests Locally
You can use make
to run any of the CI commands locally from the root directory of the stdlib repository:
# Run tests for all packages in the math namespace: make test TESTS_FILTER=".*/@stdlib/math/.*" # Run benchmarks for a specific package: make benchmark BENCHMARKS_FILTER=".*/@stdlib/math/base/special/sin/.*"

; that was included in the comment for a reason. Instead, we'd prefer to actually resolve the comment. See #8009 for an example of what we are looking for.

Thank you for the feedback and for pointing me to #8009 as a reference. That helps me understand the expectations much better.
I now see that instead of removing the // TODO: consider adding toLocaleString() comment, the right approach would be to actually implement the toLocaleString() method similar to how toString() is handled.
I’ll study #8009 carefully and work on a proper fix. Appreciate your guidance, and I look forward to contributing again!
