Yes. Reducord only interacts with Discord's temporary cache files and process priorities. It does not modify Discord's core files, inject code into the client, or access your personal messages/tokens. It is a standalone optimization tool. We can't get access to your account at all.

Since Reducord is an open-source project and the executable is not signed with a costly Microsoft certificate, Windows may flag it as "unknown."

No. We specifically avoid deleting your session tokens and local databases that store login information. Reducord targets "junk" data like GPU shader caches, image buffers, and temporary index files.

Probably. By clearing Discord's GPU cache, Reducord reduces the background CPU/GPU footprint of Discord. This might free up resources for your main game, which can lead to more stable framerates and less stuttering.

Reducord has a Safety Guard. If Discord is currently running, the cleaning process is blocked to prevent file corruption.

1. Close Discord completely (check the System Tray!).
2. Run Reducord.
3. The "Clean" button will become active once Discord is no longer detected.

Reducord has no automatic updates yet, since it's a portable application:

1. Download the latest reducord.exe from the Releases page.
2. Replace your old file with the new one.
3. Your settings (if any) will be preserved.

• OS: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
• Graphics: DirectX 11 compatible GPU.
• Storage: Minimal (the app is less than 5MB).

Please check the Log Window inside the app. If you see red error lines, take a screenshot and attach it to a GitHub Issue.
