Initial release of the OTSS dataset accompanying the publication:
Genz, S., Gregory, T., & Lehmer, F. (2026). AI-Powered Skill Classification: Mapping Technology Intensity in the German Labor Market. Fiscal Studies, forthcoming.
This release includes:
- OTSS_2012_2023_occ3digit.dta — occupation-level OTSS at the 3-digit KldB 2010 level (140 occupations)
- OTSS_2012_2023_occ5digit.dta — occupation-level OTSS at the 5-digit KldB 2010 level (1,297 occupations)
- README.md — full data documentation including variable descriptions and missing value classification
- LICENCE.txt — Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0)
