By default, the selection color is simply an inversion of the foreground and background colors. In the case of the Tokyo theme, this contrast can be too subtle.
To improve visibility, we can explicitly define colors with high contrast for the selection background and foreground in the themes/tokyo-night.kdl file.
Doing this will override the default behavior and provide a much more noticeable highlight.
