Learning Git

This is a demo repository for learning to use Git and GitHub. It was designed as a part of a lesson on synchronizing RStudio and GitHub available here. Anyone is welcome to use this to practice the process of contributing to an open source project in a low stakes environment.

Contributing

If you are an R and RStudio user, you can follow the link above for instruction. If you use a different programming language and/or development environment, fork this repo and clone it onto your machine. Then open the user.txt file and add your username, an approximate location and your favorite morning beverage to a new line. Then submit a pull request to have it merged.
