Nelipuu is a one-man research institute founded in 2022 and currently funded by development consulting of random full stack TypeScript web applications largely unrelated to the research. The name means "Quadtree" in Finnish.

• Vector map rendering algorithms and data structures
• Routable vector tiles
• Weather data visualization
• Reachability analysis including public transport
• Web map user interfaces

Nelipuu believes in green code, and that the greenest code is no code while the next best option is carefully written reusable Free code with few dependencies.
