Reporting errors to DSC

  • DSC supports a schema for error, warn, info, debug, and trace via STDERR.
  • Instead of displaying error messages as strings in the output stream, format the strings into a JSONLINE supported by DSC so it can be interpreted and reported accordingly (based on the provided --trace-level).
